This game is known for having a lot of important series-wide lore, some important to Liberl (Trails in the Sky), some important to Crossbell (Trails to Zero/Trails to Azure), and some important to Erebonia (Trails of Cold Steel), and some which still hasn't been touched upon yet. The 3rd is a direct sequel detailing Kevin Graham's story, also set in Liberl. FC and SC detailed the main story of Estelle and Joshua, two new bracers in their home country of Liberl.
